Facility Description

Constructed in 1958, Cordova Golf Course is an 18-hole public course located on Jackson Highway Road between South Watt Avenue and Bradshaw Road in Sacramento, California. The course is a full service facility with lighted driving range, practice putting green, pro-shop, grill and bar and electric carts.

Golf groups and organizations and tournaments of all sizes are welcomed, or join an existing player’s group club. Discounts offered to seniors and juniors.

Course Rates

Cordova Golf Course is one of the few remaining affordable courses in the greater Sacramento area. In addition to our already reasonable rates we offer senior and junior discounts, punch card discounts and other specials.

**NOTICE: Effective June 1, 2015 green fees will increase. For more information about this increase, download the Public Notice.

Twilight, Super Twilight - Weekends and Weekdays Twilight is starts at 1:00 PM. Play 18 holes for $15.00 Weekends and $13.00 Weekdays

Super Twilight starts at 4:00 PM. Play as many holes as you can for $11.00 Weekends and $9.00 Weekdays. Twilight start times vary throughout the year.

Reservations for (9) holes may not be made before 12:00 PM on Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays.
Discounts **Seniors (60 and over) and Juniors (17 and under) may enjoy discounts by registering and paying a one time fee of $5.00 for a Senior/Juniors card. Registering with the Cordova Golf Course can be completed at the pro-shop.

Lighted Driving Range Grass Tees Rates

Visit our Lighted Driving Range. Open at daylight Thursday-Tuesday; Open at 9:30AM on Wednesday. Closed at 9PM April - November and 7PM November - March. Closed at Dusk on weekends and holidays. Driving range hours of operation subject to weather conditions, call ahead if weather permitting. Range balls are sold until 30 minutes prior to closing. We feature both natural grass and grass hitting ares with ‘Srixon’ range balls.

Course Guidelines

The Cordova Golf Course welcomes all players regardless of ability or experience. Our course marshal and staff monitor the course at all times to ensure all players have equal opportunity to enjoy their game. Please cooperate with course personnel at all times. For questions or comments please ask course staff for assistance. All guests are expected to know and comply with the general course rules of play and follow course etiquette. Failure to comply with guidelines, rules or etiquette will result in removal from premises without refund.

General Course Rules

  • No ice chests or outside alcoholic beverages permitted;
  • Each player must have their own set of clubs (golf club rentals available);
  • Shoes and shirt required, only appropriate golf attire may be worn;
  • Only California licensed drivers may operate powered golf carts. Only (2) persons and (2) golf bags permitted per golf cart;
  • Keep all pull and powered golf carts off tee areas and at least (30)-feet from greens;
  • Replace and/or repair divots, ball marks and rake smooth sand traps;
  • Players are liable for all property damage caused during play. Please notify the course pro shop of all incidents;
  • When using the driving range hit all balls toward the center of the range and do not hit ball over protective fencing. Players to adjust golf club selection and direction of aim as needed;
  • Do not abuse powered golf carts, rental equipment or course property.

Course Rules of Play:

  • Out of bounds defined by boundary fence and white stakes;
  • Relief from staked trees, pumps; and protection barriers hole numbers: (1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 14 and 17);
  • All lakes and lagoons are lateral water hazards;
  • Yardage signs: white stakes located at (100) yards, (150) yards and (200) yards;
  • U.S. Golf Association Rules govern all play.

Golf Etiquette

  • Only use appropriate language;
  • Control behavior, don’t throw golf clubs;
  • Tee off only when fairway/green is clear of other golfers;
  • If you hit your ball onto the wrong fairway, wait until the players on that fairway have played through, that fairway holds the ‘right of way’;
  • Limit the amount of time you look for a lost ball, drop and hit another golf ball if needed;
  • Clear the fairway or green when round/play is completed and proceed to the next hole, complete score card and clear the playing area so that other waiting may proceed with their play;
  • During busy golf days proceed with play efficiently (ready golf) to help avoid extended delays for golfers playing behind you. An (18) hole round of golf should be completed within approximately (4) hours.
