 75 acres with the Cordova Community Center, 3 swimming pools, 8 tennis courts, 8 group picnic areas, 3 baseball fields, 3 soccer fields, basketball court, petting zoo, play grounds, tot lots, fitness course, and scale model steam train railroad. There is access to the American River Bike Trail and foot access to the American River.
Vehicle Entrance Fees
Vehicle Entrance Fees will be in effect March 1-October 31. Annual permits are available for $15 for the first vehicle and $8 for each additional vehicle. Annual permits are free to seniors and the disabled. Fees are as follows: Walk / Bicycle - Free, Vehicles with Annual Permit - Free, Vehicles -$4.00.

Petting Barn The
Petting Barn will be open weekends Memorial Day through Labor Day,
weather permitting, free of charge. It is available at other times by appointment for
groups of 10 or more for a fee of $50 for a 45 minute visit. Children will have "hands-on" experiences with
rabbits, sheep, goats, chickens, and several varieties of
birds. Rancho Cordova area Girl Scout Troops and the Rancho Cordova
Rotary Club make this popular park attraction available for families. |

Steam Trains |

Live Steam Trains The Sacramento Valley Live Steamers Club invites you and your family to take a ride with them on their hand-built miniature steam trains. The ride is free, but the club gratefully accepts donations to help with the maintenance and operation of the trains. Call (916) 362-1841 for current run dates.

Picnic Facilities |

Picnic Facilities are available for reservation for the current year beginning March 1 (or if on a weekend, the first Monday after March 1st). Daily use fees range from $50 to $100 varying with the capacity of the area. Unreserved areas are available on a first come first served basis. Call the CRPD Office to check on availability, (916) 362-1841. All picnic reservations must be made in person.
