Childrens Funding Assistance Program |
This program was established by CRPD to help children from lower income families participate in fee based recreational activities. Since the program's inception in 1989, hundreds of children have been given the opportunity to be involved learning dance, gymnastics, martial arts, swimming and more. Providing these programs for children will give them a sense of accomplishment, allow them to learn new skills, and expose them to positive role models.
For some families, Funding Assistance gives them the opportunity to pay for programs in installments, rather than in one lump sum. For other families it will pay a percentage of the program fees based on what the family can afford. For the neediest families, Funding Assistance pays for 100% of the cost of program fees.
Those parents of families who have benefitted from Funding Assistance, are encouraged to volunteer time to assist with our fundraisers or other CRPD programs.
Funds for this program come from fundraising activities, individuals and businesses. If you are interested in donating to this worthwhile cause or sponsoring a child, please contact Customer Service Specialst, Gail Bair .
